Electric vehicle’s warming system is totally different, because it uses the battery as the driving power. EV can’t use its residual heat only without engine, must have its own heat equipment. Recently, the most electric vehicles use PTC heaters as the heat source. Normally, there are two kinds of PTC heaters for EV (PTC air heater and PTC water heater).

This kind of PTC air heater for EV uses the PTC equipment to heat airflow directly. This PTC heater costs relatively low, but the surface temperature is much high, which is easy to burn the outside plastic case and there will be a smell. Please pay attention the assembly position of PTC heater.
